SECOND AMENDMENT
" A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the
people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."
Our Second amendment gives us the right to keep and bare arms. There are many special
interest groups trying very hard to take this right, given to us by our forefathers, away from
us. They feel that to take this right away from law abiding citizens, who obey all the law, will
somehow reduce crime.
The fact remains that even with all the gun laws now in affect, especially in our great state
of Massachusetts, which has some of the most restrictive gun lows, crime increases.
Why? Because those that commit the crimes with guns obtained them illegally. If you
research some of the most recent gun crimes such as the college shootings, the Chicago
Mall shooting and even Columbine you will find that they are or were gun free zones.
Naturally, if a criminal is going to commit a crime, it is going to be where there will be the
least resistance from the average citizen.
Protect the rights that have been given you by your forefathers and support our Second
